let me tell you about homestuck
okay so originally i was going to link the original homestuck site here, but then i realised this fucking webcomic actually needs some explanation before you can read it. so. let me tell you how to read homestuck.
so, homestuck is a webcomic written by andrew hussie that started in 2009 and ended in 2016. it's long, complex, funny, and a pain to read. this is because many important pages of the webcomic (if it can even be called that) rely on adobe flash to run. as you may know, flash was discontinued in 2020! since the story simply can't be read without these pages, you have just a few ways to read the comic now. here are some of them.
- rawdogging it on the site: not reccomended. you will not understand anything. don't do this.
- reading it on the site with a flash emulator: not the best way, but certainly acceptable! i recommend ruffle! you can get it as a browser extention, and it works pretty well.
- using the unofficial homestuck collection: THE BEST WAY! the uhc was developed as a way to preserve homestuck and hussie's other works on MS Paint Adventures. you can get all sorts of little extentions that make reading the comic better and/or easier. the only downside to it is that you have to download it which takes a while, but whatever. just read it there.
